Chief Architect, Federal Technology Office, AT&TUsha Mohan has 28 years of experience in technology and management is currently a Chief Architect with AT&T Global Public Sector Solutions leading “art of the possible” discussions with the Department of Defense leadership and helping transform customers with innovative and creative solutions using best-in-class & emerging technologies.
She recently served as the Chief Information Officer for the City of Jacksonville and had the responsibility for managing all the technology for the 12th largest city in the US. She worked collaboratively with all local elected officials to modernize technology infrastructure and to provide innovative solutions for the citizens and government with significant savings for taxpayers.
During her tenure, Jacksonville ranked #3 on the Top Digital Cities List (2013, 2014) and was listed on the Top 100 CIOs in the CIO Magazine.
She has been an entrepreneur and founded Perforata LLC, a company providing innovative and comprehensive Performance Management solutions and uReveal Inc, a self-service Big Data analytics company.
She has held technology management positions with Florida Blue, Johnson Controls and Deloitte Consulting.
Usha has 7 patents in the area of text and advanced analytics. She was named as one of the five “Most Influential South Asians” (2013) by the INDOUS Chamber of Commerce and won the Best CIO award (2013) and the IT Dream Team Award (2014) from Jacksonville Business journal at the Biztech Innovation Awards and a Community Service Award (2014) from the Mayor’s Asian American Advisory Board. She is a frequent speaker at Government and Technology conferences.
She has served on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations like INDOUS Chamber of Commerce, ICS, JTM, Metropolitan Information Exchange, Florida Local Government Information Systems Association and Tech Coast Conference. She is very active in the Jacksonville community working with youth groups to conduct events aimed at getting kids to college.
Usha and her husband, Ren Mohan have lived in Jacksonville from 1997 and have two daughters, Swetha and Shreya.
